Even with Christmas right around the corner, we keep our focus and get ready to deliver another machine to a customer!
This is one of multiple machines to have come through our factory in 2024, and we are in the process of shipping this Tanabe folder gluer to a factory in central Germany, belonging to an integrated company. Interestingly, this will be the sixth Tanabe line to be upgraded for this one customer!
The line has been fully refurbished, including a paint job, and includes the following upgrade retrofits:
– JD Machine Control with online connection
– Backfolding control in A and B sections
– JD Glue Control for operating 16 glue channels on 2 glue bridges
– Six HSS PL500 glue heads and JD glue head holders
– Jam detection
– Remote control (wireless/two-handed operation)
– Counter function, including 5 outputs
– Integration of existing sub-computers
– Safety upgrade (light curtains/area scanners/control buttons/stop circuit, etc.)
– All belts, including upper and lower belts of the press section and drive belts
Feeder adjustment via linear guides, including frames
So yet another happy customer to help us round off another busy year at JD Engineers! It has been a solid year of business, tinged with the sadness of losing one of our colleagues unexpectedly. But life and business must continue, and we look forward to working with all of our customers – existing customers and new ones – in 2025.
